SWPP AWARDS (Society of Wedding and Professional Photographers)
Ciaran, Simon and Bernie (Ciarans better half) recently attended the SWPP Awards in London, and again scooped more impressive titles including UK Portraiture Contemporary Photographer of the Year 2007 and UK Fashion and Beauty Photographer of the Year 2007.


PPANI AWARDS
The open judging of the PPANI Awards took place on Monday 3rd March. Entrants were told if they were through to the finals at that stage however, winners wont be announced until the Award’s Dinner in June.

Ciaran is through to the finals in six categories:
  • Classical Wedding
  • Avant Garde Wedding
  • Storybook Wedding
  • Fashion
  • Pictorial
  • Open Portrait
and Simon is through to the finals in four categories:
  • Under 5 Portrait
  • Family Portrait
  • Open Portrait
  • Fashion
So Good Luck to the boys and keep up the good work (no pressure then…..)


CHAMPAGNE NIGHT
The next champagne night to be hosted in our Belfast studio will be on Wednesday 12th March from 6.00p.m – 9.00p.m We have been running this night with some success over the past year, it’s a chance to browse our award winning wedding photography whilst enjoying the finest champagne and canapés.   And with the promise of some fantastic prizes to anyone who books on the night, it’s a night that is always well attended so if you are interested you MUST put your name on the list …. KINGS HALL
To those of you who visited us on our stand at the King’s Hall, thank you for visiting and good luck in our competition.   The winner will be announced at the end of May on ICON.  


YUMMY MUMMY
Commiserations to Maj, who unfortunately wasn’t crowned Yummy Mummy, however a great night out was had by all and to the guys in the Apartment who concocted some fabulous cocktails – thank you!  


GETTING MARRIED IN NORTHERN IRELAND READER AWARDS
Voting is now starting again for the GMINI Reader Awards so if you think we are great then let them know.
All the awards in the world are great but don’t compare to the ones we get from the general public.
There are links at the end of every wedding on our society pages – which you can see has got a bit of a make over for 2008. 


And finally….goodbye too …
Jacqueline from our Belfast studio who has recently moved on to pastures new… we wish her every success for the future! And also half a goodbye to Martine Quinn who is now part time in our Lurgan studio.
